Good Morning Winter... Happy Thanksgiving to all.

Looks like Winter has begun.  I am not used to the cold, yet.  Just glad I don't have to prepare Turkey Dinner.

D-Instigated the first big snowball fight in Liberty on Sunday and it ended with  a bucket and glasses of water being exchanged at home.  He gets worse as he gets older.  Back to Work for a few days..

S- Today is Monday Missionary Marathon Morning for Mom.  She checks emails and cuts, pastes and sends and updates the blog and facebook.  It takes a few hours, but hey, there is very little I can do for K in Ukraine, so hope my efforts here will be good enough. So glad the Primary Program is over, it went well.

T- Driving a white VW bug....Only a rental car until her car gets fixed. I think she kinda likes it.  She was very blessed to only get hit in the left rear panel of her car...no one was hurt. Two more weeks of school, couldn't be happier about that.

K- Doing well, but struggling with the Language... Still has PMA. and looks great!!  Ornaments are coming in the mail for his tree...Yeah!

N- Always wants Dad.... Something I try not to take personal.  He does give me a kiss on the cheek each morning before school.... Not many teens will do that :-)

C is sharing some good Blonde Jokes.  Her piano is sounding very good.  John Schmitt.....look out.  Only 2 days of school this week....Wow.

Sadi--That spoiled dog gets to sleep in her Kennel in the Garage since the cold weather... She is really good about it or I would kick her out..

Veterans Day....2009

So, I was hoping to post some Halloween pictures but our computer is not recognizing the USB to download them.... Sometime I hope. They are demolishing the old School and changing the View on the Horizon, it will be better, I think.

D- is busy testing with UL in promontory.  Seems to be going well.  Cleaning and fixing my mom's garage and house up takes most his free time.  He has made a record number of trips to the DI and Dump this year.

S is worrying about the Primary Program coming up on Nov. 22nd.  We have no children in the Primary now.  She learns a great deal about the Neper mission experience 2nd hand from Missionary Moms and other Elders letters home. It is a puzzle for her.

T finished one 17 page paper.  We know very little of what is happening in her life.  We can get more out of a text than in person conversation.  We don't see her much she communicates with us when she needs something....of course.

K is doing fine in Ukraine.  2nd transfer and he is still companions with the Branch President in Left Bank.  He is great about emailing us and letting us know the happenings, but I am not sure how he can keep track of the questions we ask.  So  S learns from others.

N sang in the Men's choir concert and loves school. He is listening and following directions better.  Job skills class takes him to Kirts (The local Drive in) which is a field trip.  He asks every Friday about the Friday Dance (something they did at Orion Jr.) Is now playing basketball with his Sports group at the New Elementary.

C had a part on the Veterans day program and took Grandpa P. to lunch.  It was great he could come down.  She is growing up....can't figure out how to stop her.  She is now in Young Women's and the only Beehive.

Life is grand.  It was snowing yellow leaves as I drove Nate to school this morning.  They say a storm is on the way......We shall see.
